Robot Reliability Engineer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a Robot Reliability Engineer to support and debug real‑time vehicle systems, ensuring high operational availability for robotic platforms. The role is fully remote and focuses on building tools, conducting experiments, and improving system reliability at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Support and debug real‑time vehicle systems to maintain performance and availability.
• Design, build, and maintain diagnostic tools and infrastructure for large‑scale issue resolution.
• Plan and execute reliability experiments using physical test benches and 3D visualization tools.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance system design and prevent recurring failures.
• Conduct deep‑dive root‑cause analysis on complex failures in Linux and real‑time environments.
• Develop automated monitoring and recovery solutions to minimize fleet downtime.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Robotics, or Embedded Systems.
• Proven ability to support and debug real‑time vehicle systems and Linux environments.
• Experience building tools and infrastructure for hardware‑software diagnostics at scale.
• Strong understanding of system design, real‑time debugging, and operational reliability.
