Remote Patient Support Operator (Ecuador)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Remote Operator based in Ecuador to provide high‑quality phone support to patients of a U.S. medical practice. The role follows New York business hours and combines patient scheduling, information provision, and insurance verification.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming patient calls courteously and professionally.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments according to patient needs.
• Provide general information about services and send appointment reminders.
• Contact insurance companies to verify coverage for medical equipment.
• Accurately record and update patient data in internal systems.
• Follow scripted communication guidelines to ensure consistency.

Required profile

• Fluent verbal English communication.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment.
• Experience in customer service, medical office support, or call‑center environments (preferred).

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency (email, scheduling software, data entry).

What we offer

• Remote work from Ecuador.
• Fixed schedule: Mon‑Thu 8 am‑7 pm, Fri 8 am‑5 pm (NY time).
• Compensation of $600 USD per month.
