Remote Land Surveyor / Civil Engineer (Civil 3D & Drainage)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer specialized in land surveying to join our remote team. The role focuses on designing and overseeing land development, drainage, and utility projects using Civil 3D and GIS tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design grading, drainage, roadway, and utility plans while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Create detailed survey drawings, as‑built and foundation surveys, and road inventory surveys.
• Draft legal descriptions and accompanying exhibit maps for property transfers and easements.
• Process field data to produce wetlands delineation maps for environmental permitting.
• Perform hydraulic, hydrology, and erosion control calculations for stormwater management.
• Conduct quality control reviews of all drawings and survey drafts before final sign‑off.

Required profile

• Verified experience in land surveying and civil engineering design.
• Advanced spoken English (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, storm utility, water and sewer utility plans and calculations.
• Familiarity with zoning laws, environmental regulations, and permitting processes.
