Remote Data Engineer

About the role

INDI is seeking a proactive Remote Data Engineer to join its Analyst team. You will work with multicultural, globally‑distributed teams to design, build, and maintain data solutions that empower stakeholders and deliver actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and identify data sources.
• Extract, cleanse, and transform data to create Tableau datasets, reports, and dashboards.
• Present completed visualisations and incorporate feedback from business users.
• Deploy and maintain Tableau assets, ensuring proper licensing, security, and performance.
• Develop, optimise, and support SQL Server stored procedures and queries.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with Tableau administration, licensing, security, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of relational data modelling concepts.
• Analytical mindset with a hands‑on approach and proven ability to deliver on commitments.
• Excellent organisational skills and a methodical approach to documentation and support.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
