Ramp Agent – Ground Operations Specialist

About the role

FedEx is seeking a Ramp Agent‑4 to manage front‑line airport operations and related administrative tasks. The role blends office‑based coordination with hands‑on ramp activities to ensure safe, efficient aircraft loading and unloading.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate local ground operations, including aircraft marshaling, loading, and unloading.
• Complete all paperwork, manifests, and weight‑and‑balance calculations accurately and on time.
• Inspect and operate ground equipment, ensuring safety and proper usage.
• Handle flight delays, cancellations, overflows, and re‑routes, and liaise with local contractors for aircraft servicing.
• Maintain regulatory documentation, including TSA, DG, and airport security records.
• Provide technical support and guidance to cargo handling staff.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of airport ramp or ground support experience.
• English proficiency (minimum 600 TOEIC points).
• In Ecuador, a valid aircraft dispatcher license.
• Ability to lift 75 lb and maneuver packages up to 150 lb with equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and Operations Officer License.
