Product Owner

About the role

Genuine School is seeking a Product Owner who is passionate about technology, innovation, and education. You will lead the definition, prioritisation, and continuous evolution of our digital educational products, ensuring they deliver real value to students, families, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, academic teams, and the technology development team.
• Define, prioritise, and maintain the product backlog aligned with strategic and academic objectives.
• Write clear, measurable, and technically feasible user stories with well‑defined acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies using the Scrum framework, adapted to Genuine School’s context.
• Collaborate closely with developers and designers to plan, execute, test, and deploy new features.
• Ensure proper implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of delivered solutions.
• Leverage data and product analytics to identify optimisation and innovation opportunities.
• Stay up‑to‑date with AI, GenAI, and LLM‑based solutions and apply them strategically.
• Participate in technical, architectural, and DevOps decisions alongside the engineering team.
• Promote a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous delivery.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with Large Language Model (LLM) ecosystems and Generative AI.
• Proficiency in Python for rapid prototyping and data workflows.
• Understanding of modern mobile application development (iOS/Android or cross‑platform).
• Experience building Power BI dashboards and working with high‑volume datasets.
