Manufacturing Operator I

About the role

We are looking for an Operator I to run converting and packaging equipment in a high‑volume manufacturing environment. The role focuses on producing and packaging wipes with exceptional quality while maintaining safe and efficient machine operation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate converting line equipment to load, thread, cut, fold, saturate, and stack various cloth materials.
• Run packaging equipment, including loading and threading film and labels to create complete wipe packages.
• Operate automated pick‑and‑place boxing lines, load boxes onto skids, shrink‑wrap, and transport pallets using a pallet jack.
• Perform cleaning, hand‑packing, and other support activities for manufacturing.
• Read and follow equipment procedures, set up machines safely, and avoid damage.
• Observe machine failures, make corrections, or involve maintenance as needed.
• Monitor process parameters to meet product quality specifications.
• Document machine attributes and parameters on required forms and logs.
• Maintain a clean work area and serve as backup for other positions when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED, or at least 2 years of experience in a high‑volume manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and understand English instructions, charts, and operator checklists.
• Basic math skills, including fractional and decimal calculations.
• Capability to lift objects up to 50 lb and work in warm or cold environments.
