Manager, Surgical Product/Brand Marketing - Downstream

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Manager to lead downstream marketing for its surgical product portfolio. In this position you will develop and execute brand strategies, promotional campaigns, and tactical plans that drive product placement, profitability, and market growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define product and brand strategy in alignment with local management and global marketing for surgical products.
• Develop and manage promotional campaigns and tactical plans within allocated budgets.
• Implement central and regionally initiated marketing activities, ensuring compliance with SOPs and Code of Conduct.
• Conduct market research programs, gather customer insights, and identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor, analyze, and control product performance, budgets, forecasts, and expenses using appropriate tools.
• Lead cross‑functional local or regional brand teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in surgical or medical device product marketing.
• Ability to guide and manage teams to achieve corporate objectives.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in market research and performance monitoring.
• Excellent collaboration skills with product development and cross‑functional partners.
