Junior Electrical CAD Designer – Tool Install Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Electrical CAD Designer to support tool‑install projects within a fast‑growing global engineering environment. You will create and maintain accurate electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, update, and revise electrical drawings, schematics, layouts, and tool‑install documentation using AutoCAD.
• Support equipment layout, utility connections, and multidisciplinary coordination for tool‑install projects.
• Interpret engineering mark‑ups, technical specifications, and field information to produce high‑quality deliverables.
• Manage revisions and ensure documentation complies with project standards and deadlines.
• Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines to maintain drawing quality and consistency.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong background in electrical engineering, electrical drafting, or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience in electrical drafting or CAD design.
• Solid understanding of tool‑install projects and electrical systems.
• Availability to work aligned with PST/Oregon time.

• AutoCAD (advanced expertise)
• Electrical drafting and creation of P&IDs
• Understanding of electrical layouts, equipment connections, and design documentation
• Revit (knowledge)
• Navisworks (knowledge)
• AutoCAD Plant 3D (knowledge)
• BIM coordination workflows
