HVAC Mechanical Designer – Remote (Quito)

About the role

We are seeking an HVAC Mechanical Designer to join our remote team based in Quito. You will work closely with licensed engineers on high‑performance, net‑zero building projects for Colorado, contributing from design development through construction documents.

Key responsibilities

• Produce HVAC construction drawings and documentation using Revit MEP workflows.
• Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural and structural models.
• Support engineers throughout design development and construction document phases.
• Maintain drawing standards, sheet organization, and model discipline across projects.
• Incorporate redlines and revisions accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate progress clearly with the team in English.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit with MEP/HVAC workflows.
• Experience in mechanical, HVAC, or building systems drafting or design.
• Ability to perform heating and cooling load calculations (Manual J, ASHRAE, etc.) and size equipment.
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency.
• Self‑directed and consistent in a remote work environment.
