High School Math Teacher (Quito)

About the role

Nord Anglia Education is seeking a qualified High School Math Teacher to join Colegio Menor Quito, a private PG‑12 liberal arts school in Ecuador. You will work in an English‑immersion environment, delivering the mathematics curriculum to secondary students and contributing to the school’s mission of building intelligent, well‑rounded thinkers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess high‑school level mathematics lessons in English.
• Create engaging, differentiated learning experiences that align with the school’s curriculum.
• Monitor and report student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Uphold the school’s safeguarding policies and participate in required vetting procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with certification to teach secondary mathematics.
• Experience teaching high‑school students, preferably in an international or bilingual setting.
• Commitment to the values of goodness, beauty, and truth and to fostering an inclusive community.
• Willingness to undergo national and international background checks.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in teaching mathematics concepts.
• Ability to deliver instruction in English.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child‑welfare procedures.
