Golang Technical Leader (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a Golang Technical Leader to drive the design and development of high‑scale distributed systems. This remote position focuses on building reliable, performant backend services using Go and shaping the technical direction of mission‑critical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and implementation of distributed, high‑scale backend services.
• Design solutions for concurrency, caching, failover, latency and partial‑failure scenarios.
• Define service architecture and guide technical decisions across the engineering team.
• Implement and maintain observability (logging, metrics, tracing) for distributed systems.
• Mentor engineers, establish Go best practices, and drive technical excellence throughout the system lifecycle.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Go for distributed systems and high‑scale backend development.
• Strong knowledge of concurrency, caching, failover, latency and partial‑failure design.
• Hands‑on experience with Redis.
• Experience building gRPC and REST services.
• Proficiency in observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing).
• Advanced English communication skills.
