Field Specialist II – ESP Installation & Service

About the role

The Field Specialist II joins Baker Hughes' Production Solutions team to deliver advanced Artificial Lift technologies. You will work on‑shore and off‑shore, installing, retrieving, monitoring and optimizing Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) systems while ensuring safety, quality and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Install, pull, inspect and test ESP systems and associated surface equipment.
• Support commissioning of Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) and other production hardware.
• Monitor ESP performance, diagnose issues and execute troubleshooting to extend equipment life and boost well productivity.
• Perform power‑cable splicing and verify equipment integrity throughout installation and operation.
• Collaborate with customers, supervisors, technicians and operational teams to execute field activities safely and efficiently.
• Prepare accurate service reports, operational documentation and technical recommendations.
• Manage field assignments independently when required and contribute to continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Experience with ESP systems and related production equipment.
• Hands‑on background in ESP installation, pulling, troubleshooting, testing or cable splicing.
• Degree or technical qualification in Industrial, Electronic, Mechanical, Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
• Strong communication and customer‑facing abilities.
