Field Service Associate Technician – Babahoyo

About the role

Diebold Nixdorf is looking for a Field Service Associate Technician to provide on‑site installation, maintenance and support of its hardware and software solutions in the Babahoyo region. You will work directly with customers to ensure equipment operates correctly and that they understand how to use it.

Key responsibilities

• Install, debug, and perform technical maintenance on product hardware and software at customer premises.
• Conduct scheduled inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs on assigned equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot hardware and software failures and perform component‑level repairs.
• Execute preventive‑maintenance procedures and refill consumables as required.
• Perform IMAC/R tasks – install, move, add, change, or remove hardware and software.
• Train customers on the operation of installed equipment and provide documentation.
• Participate in regular technical trainings and support KPI‑driven initiatives.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in field services or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license that meets Diebold Nixdorf fleet requirements.
