English Language & Literature Teacher – Quito

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic English Language & Literature Teacher to join our PG‑12 programme at Colegio Menor in Quito. The successful candidate will deliver an immersive English curriculum, inspire critical thinking, and support the development of well‑rounded learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging English language and literature lessons for primary and secondary students.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Adapt instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs and promote inclusive participation.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records, report on student achievement and contribute to parent‑teacher communication.
• Uphold the school’s safeguarding policies and participate in regular training.

Required profile

• Degree in English, Literature, Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification and experience teaching English at the primary or secondary level.
• Commitment to the school’s values of goodness, beauty and truth.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and respect diverse cultures, religions and abilities.
• Willingness to undergo national and international background checks.
