About the role

We are looking for a qualified basic‑education teacher to lead the sixth‑grade class at the Adventist Educational Unit in Santo Domingo. The role focuses on delivering the national curriculum with an emphasis on inclusive, active learning and strong community collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute educational activities aligned with the Ecuadorian national curriculum.
• Assess student performance, record progress promptly, and provide feedback.
• Foster a respectful classroom environment that encourages active participation.
• Coordinate with families and the academic team to monitor student development.
• Prepare and adapt teaching materials and digital resources for effective learning.

Required profile

• Degree in Basic Education, Pedagogy or a related field.
• Proven experience in school teaching and classroom management.
• Knowledge of the Ecuadorian National Curriculum and curricular planning.
• Familiarity with performance‑based evaluation and inclusion strategies.
• Availability to work on‑site in Santo Domingo.
