Direct Sales Manager – Diagnostics

About the role

Roche is seeking a Direct Sales Manager for its Diagnostics division. The role focuses on sustaining and growing market share by delivering high‑value medical diagnostic solutions to key accounts. You will work closely with stakeholders to drive long‑term business growth and ensure access to healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial growth strategies for existing and new markets using data‑driven insights.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with C‑level executives, medical directors, laboratory heads and other high‑level stakeholders.
• Monitor institutional budgets, expenditures and revenues to protect profitability.
• Design tailored sales presentations, communication plans and commercial strategies that address client needs.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Production, Finance and other internal teams to align solutions with operational capabilities.
• Analyse competitive landscape and market data to identify differentiators and increase market share.
• Lead engagement sessions with potential clients to expand relationships and secure new business.
• Negotiate commercial terms, assess operational or legal risks and implement continuous improvement actions.

Required profile

• University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Health Sciences, Business Administration or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in the diagnostic industry.
• Proven track record in commercial, sales management or marketing functions, with experience leading high‑performance teams.
• Strong strategic vision and ability to translate market insights into actionable plans.
