Data Engineer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients across Latin America. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver data‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain large‑scale enterprise ETL pipelines and workflow automations.
• Write advanced SQL queries, manage relational databases and optimise NoSQL data stores.
• Integrate data solutions with cloud platforms and modern analytics tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or Talend.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure high‑quality code delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional software or data engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to work independently on remote, project‑based assignments.

Required skills

• JavaScript and Node.js
• SQL and NoSQL database design and performance tuning
• Python scripting
• Experience with ETL tools and workflow automation (e.g., n8n)
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake
• Knowledge of Apache big‑data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Flink)
• Exposure to AI/LLM integration and automation solutions
