About the role

We are looking for an Accountant with experience in the SIGGO Contífico system to manage the full accounting cycle for our operations in Rumiñahui. The role involves ensuring compliance with Ecuadorian IFRS for SMEs and local tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain the general ledger in accordance with IFRS for SMEs and current regulations.
• Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, income tax, withholdings) with the SRI within established deadlines.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, following up on customer and supplier portfolios.
• Handle electronic invoicing for services such as cylinder rectification, crankshaft, cylinder heads, automotive mechanics, among others.
• Process payroll and manage employer obligations (IESS, bonuses, vacations, profit sharing) for operational and administrative staff.
• Perform periodic bank reconciliations and control petty cash.
• Analyze service costs (spare parts, supplies, labor) to support pricing and margin decisions.
• Coordinate with logistics to control inventory of supplies and spare parts.
• Prepare financial and management reports for management, including key performance indicators.
• Respond to internal or external audit requests and regulatory bodies (SRI, IESS, Superintendence of Companies if applicable).
• Maintain organized and backed‑up accounting and tax files.

Required profile

• Technical/Professional education (minimum).
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Age between 24 and 35 years.
