About the role
SiteMinder is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and expand its presence in the hotel technology market. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospect outreach to closing, and help shape commercial strategies that meet ambitious revenue targets.
Key responsibilities
- Create new business opportunities and upsell existing customers.
- Own the complete sales process: outreach, demos, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
- Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales KPIs and revenue targets.
- Prepare accurate quotes and present professional proposals to clients.
- Maintain up‑to‑date records of activities in SiteMinder’s CRM system.
- Gather client feedback and relay it to the Product Team.
- Collaborate with local industry groups and travel associations, attending events and occasional client site visits.
Required profile
- Proven experience in new‑business acquisition, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Industry knowledge in hotel technology, OTA, or revenue management is a strong plus.
- Self‑motivated, resilient and able to maintain high performance daily.
- Growth mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
