Benefit Support Associate (Mandarin/English/Spanish)

About the role

Workers Benefit Fund is seeking energetic, personable individuals to join our team as Benefit Support Associates. In this role you will help bridge the benefit access gap for low‑income gig workers by providing multilingual assistance through calls, chats, emails and SMS.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound communications across phone, email, SMS and chat.
• Make outbound calls with a focus on strong results and lead generation.
• Follow company guidelines for communications with minimal supervision.
• Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Escalate complex customer issues and troubleshoot common product or service problems.
• Collaborate with other departments to find appropriate solutions.
• Maintain professional, friendly interactions with every customer or prospect.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• At least 1 year of customer service or call‑center experience (preferred).
• Fluent in English and Spanish (B1/B2 level or higher).
• Conversational Mandarin Chinese with valid certification (HSK 4 or higher).
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients from diverse socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience using Google Docs and Google Sheets.
