About the role

PwC is looking for an Accounting Assistant to support its internal finance function in Quito. You will work with a team of professionals to record, analyse, and reconcile financial transactions while ensuring compliance with internal policies and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record and analyse daily financial transactions.
• Process, pay, and receive invoices.
• Maintain ledger accounts and prepare month‑end reconciliations.
• Identify discrepancies and potential fraud through bill analysis.
• Handle data responsibly and follow risk‑management and compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide timely financial information.

Required profile

• Third‑level degree in Accounting and Auditing.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting functions.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Intermediate English (B1) proficiency.
• Solid knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
