Area Sales Manager – Water & Power

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will lead all sales activities for Water & Power solutions within an assigned territory. Reporting to the Sector Manager and Country Leader, you will build strong client relationships, drive revenue, and ensure high‑quality service for end users, consultants, contractors, and channel partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full sales cycle for Water & Power opportunities in the designated region.
• Develop and maintain relationships with end users, engineering consultants, contractors, and channel partners.
• Oversee local channel partners (manufacturer’s representatives and distributors) to maximise performance.
• Identify and pursue project sales, service, and aftermarket opportunities with existing customers.
• Act as the primary contact for customer needs and coordinate with the Factory Service Group when required.
• Maintain accurate CRM updates and regular sales reporting.
• Monitor market trends, competitive positioning, and provide forecasts to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Collaborate with the Country Manager and other Area Sales Managers to align sales strategies with company goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling products and services for capital projects, resellers, and end users.
• Experience managing a channel‑partner network.
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Strong commitment to delivering high‑quality service to internal and external customers.
• Excellent interpersonal, tact, and diplomatic skills.
• Self‑motivated, independent, and accountable.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
