AI Training Specialist (Egocentric Video)

About the role

We are looking for individuals to help train artificial‑intelligence systems by recording first‑person videos of everyday household tasks. Using a smartphone mounted at forehead level, you will capture clear, stable footage of activities such as cooking, cleaning, gardening, or walking the dog. The recordings are uploaded through our dedicated app and used to improve AI perception of real‑world environments.

Key responsibilities

• Record everyday activities from a first‑person perspective in your own home, yard, garage or workspace.
• Follow short recording guidelines for each session, ensuring videos are at least 15 seconds long, well‑lit, and show intentional tasks without pauses.
• Mount the device at eye‑level or forehead level with a downward angle to maximise hand visibility.
• Upload the captured videos via the designated “D&A” application.

Required profile

• Own a smartphone capable of 1080p resolution (or higher) and 30 FPS (e.g., iPhone 11+, Google Pixel 6+, Samsung Galaxy S21+).
• Possess a wide‑angle (0.5×) lens or equivalent.
• Comfortable recording yourself while performing routine tasks.
• Ability to follow brief guidelines and maintain video quality standards.

Required skills

• Operate a smartphone camera at 1080p/30 FPS or higher.
• Use the D&A application for data capture and upload.
• Mount a smartphone securely for egocentric video recording.

What we offer

• Flexible, project‑based work – record whenever it fits your schedule.
• Compensation up to the equivalent of $5 per hour, based on completed sessions.
• Opportunity to influence how AI and robots understand everyday human actions.
