AI Process Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

Camunda is looking for an AI Process Forward Deployed Engineer to bring its new ProcessOS product to enterprise customers. You will own the end‑to‑end deployment journey, turning natural‑language process descriptions into production‑grade BPMN workflows and establishing continuous improvement loops.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy the first workflow for each customer, activate the improvement loop, and demonstrate measurable gains within the first 90 days.
• Scale deployments to 3‑5 customers within the first year, ensuring long‑term adoption and capability transfer.
• Configure and operate Camunda clusters on‑premise and in cloud environments.
• Debug integration failures and build custom AI agents when platform defaults are insufficient.
• Develop connector logic to integrate legacy enterprise systems with ProcessOS.
• Collaborate with Java service and React interface teams to optimise performance and fault tolerance.

Required profile

• Strong technical background with experience delivering complex software solutions to enterprise clients.
• Ability to work across technical and business stakeholders, building trust and driving adoption.
• Hands‑on experience with distributed systems and cloud deployments.
