AI Principal Engineer

About the role

Improvado is seeking a hands‑on AI Principal Engineer to shape the future of AI‑powered marketing intelligence. You will work directly with the CEO and VP of Product on critical AI initiatives, moving from architecture decisions to production code and client conversations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI‑powered features from architecture to production.
• Build and evolve intelligent agents using modern LLM frameworks, including memory systems, knowledge‑graph design, multi‑agent orchestration, and retrieval pipelines.
• Drive technical architecture decisions across product or InfoSec focus areas, ensuring high code quality and reliability.
• Write scalable, production‑ready code and take full ownership of outcomes end‑to‑end.
• Define and track success metrics such as model performance, user satisfaction, and adoption.
• Own the architecture of the AI Agent product.

Required profile

• A catalyst for action with a relentless drive for execution in a fast‑paced environment.
• Deep experience building AI/ML systems, ideally with LLMs in production (agents, retrieval, orchestration, evaluation).
• Hands‑on with modern AI tooling and strong product instincts.
• Clear communicator in English, comfortable leading technical discussions with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Previous startup or fast‑paced environment experience is a plus.
• Available for a 6‑day workweek with consistent overlap with US timezones (until 6 pm PST).
