Agentic Ruby on Rails Engineer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

FullStackFullStack is seeking an Agentic Ruby on Rails Engineer to join client teams on a remote, project‑based basis across Latin America. You will work side‑by‑side with designers and engineers, delivering high‑quality web applications while leveraging AI‑assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with client designers and engineers to deliver features and fixes.
• Design, develop, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications and RESTful APIs.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and work with PostgreSQL or other SQL databases.
• Utilize AI engineering tools (e.g., OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Gemini CLI) to accelerate coding and review AI‑generated code for quality and performance.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and follow Agile/Scrum processes.
• Take ownership of complex, large‑scale systems and contribute to internal libraries as needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to work 40 hours per week remotely.
