Accounting Analyst

About the role

The Accounting Analyst will support AIG's finance team by managing invoice processing, tax withholding recording, and account reconciliations. You will work closely with the Accenture Brazil team and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely month‑end and year‑end closures.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, validate, and process vendor invoices.
• Record tax withholdings and reconcile tax accounts (VAT, Income Tax, ISD).
• Manage invoice payments and monitor outstanding balances.
• Prepare and share information for external audits.
• Support monthly and annual closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial statement annexes.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.

Required skills

• Intermediate Excel.
• Basic to intermediate Power BI.
• Knowledge of national tax legislation (VAT, Income Tax, ISD) and related forms.
• Experience with SAP, Blackline, or SISE is a plus.
