Voice Actors Prompt Writer (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Prompt Writer who will create high-quality prompts for voice actors working on AI-driven voice agents. In this contractor role you will blend creativity, linguistic precision and technical insight to shape the next generation of conversational AI.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, write and refine prompts that guide voice actors in AI agent projects.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, project managers and voice talent to ensure scripts are clear, expressive and purposeful.
• Research and analyse diverse voice‑acting styles to optimise prompts for character and emotion delivery.
• Iterate on prompt performance using feedback and metrics to improve the overall AI voice experience.
• Maintain best practices for prompt clarity, tone and engagement across multiple scenarios.
• Document processes, revisions and linguistic decisions for team knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Exceptional command of written and spoken English.
• Proven experience in scriptwriting for voice actors, audio production or AI applications.
• Strong attention to detail and narrative flow.
• Excellent verbal communication and proactive collaboration in remote, cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to synthesize feedback and continuously improve prompt quality.
• Passion for AI technologies and natural‑language voice solutions.
