Senior Frontend Engineer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join Toptal’s new product team. You will shape the user experience of a first‑class internal application, working autonomously in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain reusable, reliable, and testable TypeScript code.
• Build and evolve a monorepo application using React, Apollo GraphQL and Next.js.
• Review peers’ code, mentor teammates and contribute to improving team processes.
• Identify technical debt, propose enhancements and ensure high quality, accessibility and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to suggest usability improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Strong product mindset with a focus on solving real business problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Team‑player attitude, willing to unblock peers and share knowledge.
