Senior Fraud Investigator – CGI

About the role

AIG is seeking a Senior Fraud Investigator to lead complex investigations across multiple lines of business. The role combines fieldwork, interview techniques, evidence handling, and advanced analytical tools to uncover fraudulent activity and support legal actions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate investigative techniques, including fieldwork, cognitive interviews, and evidence preservation.
• Gather facts through open‑ended interviews with witnesses, claimants, and other parties.
• Prepare objective, concise investigation reports and record financial impacts in the case management system.
• Develop and deliver fraud training for business units and conduct targeted claims reviews.
• Maintain professional relationships with insured parties, lawyers, vendors, police, and fraud agencies.
• Testify and present evidence in administrative and criminal proceedings as required.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure investigations meet regulatory standards.
• Provide analytical insights on fraud trends and contribute to continuous improvement of investigation processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fraud investigation or related security fields.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and courtroom testimony.
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
