Butler – Luxury Guest Experience (Shipboard)

About the role

The Butler is the primary liaison for guests staying in luxury suites aboard the ship, delivering a seamless, premium experience that exceeds expectations. Working within the Guest Relations team, the Butler ensures every detail of the suite and ship amenities is flawlessly executed.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and orient guests to their suite, ship facilities, ports of call, and Retreat privileges.
• Serve as the personal point of contact, coordinating with all hotel and marine departments to guarantee smooth service delivery.
• Conduct taste‑testing and quality checks of food, beverages, and in‑suite services before guest use.
• Champion high standards, continuously raising the level of service for the Retreat program.
• Collaborate with other Retreat areas to share guest preferences and enhance the overall experience across all venues.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of guest‑facing service experience in a luxury environment.
• Fluent, clear, and courteous English communication, both spoken and written.
• Professional appearance, warm demeanor, and strong emotional intelligence.
• Proven ability in conflict resolution, resourceful thinking, and knowledge of food and beverage service.
