Agentic Software Engineer (GitHub Copilot) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

FullStack is looking for an Agentic Software Engineer who will work remotely with U.S. clients across Latin America. You will join client teams daily, collaborating with designers and engineers while leveraging GitHub Copilot as your primary development environment.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate directly into client development teams and contribute to design and implementation.
• Use GitHub Copilot to coordinate AI‑driven code generation across large, multi‑file systems.
• Maintain architectural oversight and ensure production‑ready quality.
• Design and iterate AI‑first development workflows from specification to deployment.
• Conduct disciplined human‑in‑the‑loop reviews, especially for high‑impact or safety‑critical features.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support asynchronous collaboration.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep understanding of full‑stack architectures (Java, Python, C#, React, Node, etc.).
• Extensive experience using GitHub Copilot as a primary development tool.
• Proven track record delivering production software where AI generates most of the implementation code.
• Strong context‑engineering skills to create AI‑friendly specifications.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week remotely with a positive, can‑do attitude.
