SOC 2 Associate Manager (Remote – LATAM)

About the role

Insight Assurance is seeking a remote SOC 2 Associate Manager to lead audit engagements for clients across Latin America. You will oversee SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, HIPAA, and other security and privacy assessments while driving performance improvements and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day activities of IT audit engagements (SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, SOC for cybersecurity).
• Evaluate design and effectiveness of technology controls and communicate findings to management.
• Identify performance‑improvement opportunities for assigned clients.
• Participate in client meetings, foster relationships, and provide weekly status reports.
• Supervise and manage performance of audit staff on engagements.
• Proactively flag potential issues to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, cybersecurity, or MIS.
• Minimum 4 years of IT audit experience at a Big 4 or comparable consulting firm.
• Active or in‑progress certification such as CISA, CPA, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or PCI QSA.

Required skills

• Experience with GRC and compliance automation tools (Vanta, Drata, Secureframe).
