About the role

MARESA is seeking a Subgerente de Tecnología to lead and optimize the company’s operations through agile implementation of digital solutions. The role reports to senior management and is responsible for aligning technology initiatives with corporate strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an IT strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Implement flexible, simplified, and automated technology services.
• Plan and deploy the required technology architecture to meet strategic and operational goals.
• Manage the portfolio of technology services, including hardware, software, applications, and risk management.
• Lead IT projects in infrastructure, security, applications, and business intelligence to support business objectives and improve customer satisfaction.
• Administer the technology budget, ensuring optimal performance and cost savings.
• Ensure information security, business continuity, and risk mitigation in line with ISO 27001 and ISO 27002 standards.
• Oversee provisioning, usage, and updates of infrastructure and systems.
• Provide support desk services to guarantee client satisfaction.
• Evaluate emerging technology trends to drive modern, efficient transformation.
• Manage the technology team to foster a positive work climate and achieve departmental goals.

Required profile

• Postgraduate Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or Process Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar technology leadership positions.
• Strong orientation to results, continuous improvement, and internal customer service.
