Secondary School Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Secondary School Teacher to join our international school community. The role involves planning, delivering, and assessing lessons for secondary students while supporting their academic and socio‑emotional development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan lessons in advance, share plans with the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator, and prepare necessary teaching materials.
• Maintain up‑to‑date grade books, enter grades promptly, and design monthly assessments for each topic.
• Grade all assigned work, keep the classroom environment engaging, and supervise playground duties.
• Collaborate with the Psychology Department and Academic Coordinator to support students with academic, behavioral, or special‑needs issues.
• Participate in staff meetings, institutional workshops, parent meetings, and school activities.
• Record daily attendance, organize portfolio assignments, and monitor homework boards.
• Promote open communication with students and parents and encourage involvement in school committees and community projects.
• Adhere to the school’s uniform policy and schedule, and perform any other duties related to the position.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary setting.
• Advanced proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and communication competencies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in digital tools.
• Intermediate‑level Microsoft Office skills.
