Secondary Computer Science & IT Teacher

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated secondary teacher to deliver Computer Science and Information Technology lessons. The role involves planning, teaching, assessing and supporting students while collaborating with the academic and psychology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and email lesson plans to the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator.
• Prepare and organise class materials and maintain an up‑to‑date grade book.
• Design, administer and grade monthly assessments and other assignments.
• Supervise playground duties and record daily attendance.
• Collaborate with the Psychology Department to support students with academic, behavioural or special‑needs issues.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, parent sessions and school activities.
• Encourage student participation in sub‑committees, fairs and community service projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum two years of teaching experience at secondary level.
• Advanced proficiency in English (spoken, reading and writing).
• Strong organisational, planning and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in digital tools.
• Intermediate‑level Microsoft Office skills.
