Remote Python Developer – Part‑time Project Consultant

About the role

Anyone AI is seeking experienced Python developers to work remotely on a series of project‑based tasks for a leading AI lab. This part‑time consulting role involves designing realistic software engineering challenges, implementing solutions, and reviewing peer submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement multi‑file coding tasks covering bug fixes, feature development, refactoring, and testing.
• Write clear natural‑language specifications and reference implementations.
• Develop and extend unit and integration test suites for each task.
• Review peer‑generated tasks for correctness, clarity, and realism.
• Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes.
• Ensure alignment between specifications, code, and expected outputs.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced written proficiency in English.
• Ability to work independently, manage own schedule, and provide own tools.
• Comfort with remote, part‑time, project‑based engagements.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.
• Proven ability to debug large, multi‑file codebases.
• Experience with code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations.
