Python/Django Software Engineer – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

FullStack is seeking an experienced Python/Django Software Engineer to join its talent network and work on U.S. client projects remotely across Latin America. You will become an integral part of the client’s development team, collaborating daily with designers and engineers to deliver high‑quality backend solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python/Django applications and APIs.
• Build and scale distributed systems in production environments.
• Implement and manage PostgreSQL databases and other SQL/NoSQL stores.
• Deploy and operate services on AWS using containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Define infrastructure as code with Terraform and Helm, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate event‑streaming platforms such as Kafka or Kinesis.
• Ensure secure authentication/authorization using OAuth/OIDC.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to code reviews.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to work 40 hours per week remotely.
• Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail.
