Order Processing Representative II

About the role

The Order Processing Representative II joins UPS Supply Chain Solutions to serve as a key point of contact for customers, internal traffic teams, and sales groups. In this role you will handle international transportation orders, provide rate analysis, and deliver timely tracking information while ensuring high‑quality service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process international transportation orders and calculate transit times.
• Communicate daily with internal and external customers via phone, fax, and email.
• Analyze data, respond promptly to customer inquiries, and ensure specific customer requirements are met.
• Track, route, and trace shipments; prepare reports and update customer files.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and shippers to arrange pickups and resolve issues.
• Obtain proofs of delivery and charges from international agents.
• Escalate problems to supervisors or managers as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or international equivalent.
• At least 2 years of customer‑service experience in a fast‑paced ocean‑freight environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Typing speed of 35‑40 words per minute (preferred).
