About the role

We are seeking a Credit Officer to join our team in Quito. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in assessing and monitoring credit risk, helping to ensure the financial stability of the company.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate the solvency of potential and existing clients by reviewing financial statements and credit histories.
• Prepare detailed credit risk reports and recommend mitigation measures when necessary.
• Identify patterns of risky behavior and contribute to the development of predictive models to improve credit decision‑making.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external clients, maintaining clear communication throughout the evaluation process.

Required profile

• University degree (minimum).
• At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Age between 25 and 55 years.
• Strong understanding of credit regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and capacity to work under pressure.
