Medical & Access Partner

About the role

Roche is seeking a Medical & Access Partner to lead access strategy and public policy for its Diagnostics portfolio across Ecuador and Peru. You will act as the primary scientific and policy expert, engaging with ministries, insurers and key opinion leaders to ensure innovative solutions reach patients who need them most.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute access plans for high‑value medical products, anticipating market trends and creating innovative value propositions.
• Build and maintain high‑level relationships with KOLs, scientific societies, and government authorities to influence public policy and regulatory frameworks.
• Map stakeholders and patient journeys to identify clinical priorities and growth opportunities.
• Apply health‑economics tools and cost‑benefit models to position the portfolio within regional health systems.
• Serve as the chief scientific spokesperson, disseminating clinical evidence through publications, expert panels and business strategies.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with commercial, strategy and finance teams to streamline access processes and maximize commercial potential.

Required profile

• Degree in Health Sciences, Business Administration or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, focusing on market access and public policy.
• Deep understanding of the Peruvian and Ecuadorian health systems and regulations.
