About the role

The Measurement Engineer (M/LWD) is responsible for operating the tools and technologies used to measure, monitor, and analyze drilling parameters in real time. This role enables directional drillers to make on‑the‑fly adjustments, ensuring wells reach target zones efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform rig‑up by installing surface equipment such as sensors, cables, computers, and related hardware before drilling begins.
• Inspect, program, and monitor M/LWD tools according to the service scope for each well.
• Assemble and disassemble directional drilling components (BHA) as required.
• Monitor surface and downhole parameters in real time, conduct quality control of surveys, and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare and deliver internal and external reports and records promptly and reliably.
• Execute rig‑down activities, removing surface equipment after drilling operations are completed.

Required profile

• Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in drilling services (M/LWD) within the oil industry.
• Desirable certifications: ISO 9001‑2015 and API Q1/Q2.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
