Excel Specialist - Remote

About the role

We are seeking an Excel Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis. You will design realistic business scenarios and evaluate AI‑generated Office documents, helping improve large language model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and simulate complex business cases using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Engage in structured, multi‑turn conversations with an LLM, presenting detailed prompts.
• Create, review, and compare .xlsx.docx, and .pptx files generated by AI against professional standards.
• Document feedback and provide side‑by‑side preference data for model refinement.
• Contribute domain‑specific insights across multiple industries and functions.
• Communicate findings clearly in written and verbal formats for the AI training team.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of professional experience in Fortune 500 environments using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Proven ability to build complex models, reports, analyses, and presentations.
• Background in roles such as private‑equity associate, investment‑banking analyst, junior consultant, FP&A analyst, HR, or marketing strategist.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience interacting with LLMs or crafting long‑form AI prompts is a strong plus.
