About the role
We are looking for a motivated Commercial Executive to join our food and laboratory solutions business in Quito. The role combines technical knowledge with sales expertise to manage existing accounts and generate new business opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of client accounts in the food and laboratory sectors.
- Achieve defined commercial targets and revenue goals.
- Provide technical and commercial advice to customers, preparing quotations and following up on sales opportunities.
- Identify and develop new business prospects through client visits and market prospecting.
Required profile
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Biotechnology, Commercial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales or a similar commercial role.
- Age between 25 and 38 years.
- Willingness to travel for client visits and to work on‑site.
Required skills
- Biotechnology knowledge.
- Chemical engineering fundamentals.
- Laboratory techniques and product knowledge.
- Technical sales and client prospecting abilities.
