Database Management Associate – Business Intelligence (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Database Management Associate (Business Intelligence) will support UNICEF’s Private Fundraising and Partnerships unit in Quito by ensuring reliable, high‑quality data for fundraising operations. Reporting to the Fundraising Specialist, the associate will oversee database processes, supervise technical support staff and help translate data into actionable insights for strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the BI team’s workflow and technical support activities.
• Maintain and improve database management processes to guarantee data integrity and timely access.
• Develop and implement visual analytics strategies, data governance frameworks and reporting architecture.
• Produce integrated reports and performance dashboards that highlight fundraising trends, growth opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional fundraising teams to align data solutions with financial goals.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree or equivalent experience in data management, business intelligence or a related field.
• Experience working with large donor or fundraising databases.
• Ability to work under supervision of a senior fundraising specialist and coordinate a small technical team.
