Core Teacher – Primary School

About the role

The Core Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering and assessing high‑quality learning experiences for primary students. The role supports academic, social, emotional and personal development within a safe, inclusive and engaging environment, aligned with the school’s mission, vision and values.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and oversee the Primary academic programme, ensuring effective curriculum delivery and innovative, student‑centred teaching practices.
• Coordinate, mentor and evaluate the Primary teaching team, identify professional development needs and lead pedagogical meetings.
• Monitor students’ academic, social and emotional progress, implement support strategies and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Maintain timely communication with families, participate in parent meetings and address concerns or significant situations.
• Prepare academic and performance reports, coordinate timetables, assessments and school activities, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or licence as required by local regulations.
• Minimum required years of teaching experience in Primary Education (exact number not specified).
• Experience in bilingual or international schools is an advantage.
