About the role
DISMEC DISEÑO E INGENIERIA MECANICA is seeking a welding assistant to join its team in Quito. The role involves supporting the welding process, preparing materials, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the welding team by preparing and positioning materials.
- Perform cutting, grinding and polishing of metal components.
- Maintain and clean welding equipment and work areas.
- Support routine maintenance tasks on metal structures.
- Follow company safety and quality standards at all times.
Required profile
- Previous experience in welding, preferably in the metal‑mechanical sector.
- Basic primary education.
- Age between 22 and 40 years.
- Less than one year of professional experience is acceptable.
- Strong manual dexterity and ability to work well in a team.
