About the role

We are looking for a Payroll Assistant to join our Human Resources team in Quito. The role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, aligning with Ecuadorian labor regulations and our company’s culture of excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Load payroll novelties, overtime, and deductions into the system with precision.
• Respond promptly to employee emails and payroll-related requests.
• Calculate and record the 13th and 14th salary payments.
• Administer social benefits, reserve funds, and other payroll-related benefits.
• Maintain compliance with the IESS and Ministry of Labor (SUT) platforms and ensure all processes follow the Ecuadorian Labor Code.

Required profile

• Degree or ongoing studies in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• At least one year of experience in payroll processing (internships count).
• Strong attention to detail, organized and curious attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with payroll software.
• Familiarity with IESS and SUT platforms.
