Rust Engineer - Remote Work

About the role

We are looking for a Rust Engineer to design and maintain high‑performance backend services and systems‑level applications. You will bridge complex architectural requirements with fast, memory‑safe execution in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high‑performance backend services and systems‑level applications using Rust.
• Implement efficient, non‑blocking I/O and concurrent systems with async patterns.
• Build and manage scalable API architectures using gRPC or JSON‑RPC.
• Integrate and optimise data persistence layers with PostgreSQL.
• Orchestrate deployment and lifecycle management within AWS cloud environments.
• Conduct performance profiling and benchmarking to identify and resolve bottlenecks.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience focused on Rust and systems programming.
• Proven expertise with Rust web frameworks such as Actix or Axum.
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and database schema design.
• Deep understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrent systems.
• Experience with communication protocols like gRPC or JSON‑RPC.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
